Choosing the correct helmet - this is how to find the right size


In order to find the right cycle helmet, you must first find the right size. First you need to measure the circumference of your head, preferably using a tape measure. Alternatively you could use a piece of string. Measure the circumference at the level of your forehead, approximately 1 cm above your eyebrows.

With our cycle helmets, you can always find the helmet size and corresponding head circumference listed under technical data. ABUS bicycle helmets come in different sizes.

This is how a bike helmet should sit


In order to offer protection in an emergency, the cycle helmet needs to sit correctly. The helmet should sit horizontally on your head, allowing atwo-finger wide gap between the bridge of your nose and the helmet. The helmet must not wobble or slip. The straps are joined under the ears and are taut.
